Leaves Adrift

Days of Autumn: Day 75
December 6, 2014

Leaves adrift
as ships at sea,
their days are spent,
fallen beauty.

Yet I would watch
and look and see
the way they sail
as I would be

bound as they
from tree set free.
They travel on
effortlessly.
